The importance of imparting skill training to the youth is well-recognised and has been flagged as a national priority for almost a decade.
Further, the government is making tireless efforts so that India’s youth can fulfil their potential and meet their aspirations while contributing to India’s progress, with significant initiatives being launched by the Government.
From Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana to Skill India, which are working towards skilling the workflow of the country. Further, efforts are being made to raise the natural standard of education, partnering with developing nations to raise the country’s skill standard and by promoting the adoption of new technologies.
While these initiatives continue the efforts to provide training in more advanced skills, we require a more coordinated approach from various stakeholders, which can enlarge the network of training programmes and ensure that training is closely aligned to make India a global skilled workforce.
