*The second Wave Weakens*
The second wave of Covid-19 hit almost every corner of the world, India was also among them but the proactiveness of India helped the Indian citizens to limit the second wave of COVID-19. In the last two weeks, India’s daily recoveries are continuing to outnumber the fresh infections and there is a consistent decline in the country’s active cases.
*Active cases are constantly decreasing*
India reported the highest single-day spike in the active cases on May 7. But from there the cases have been declining constantly as the state government and central government are working 24×7 to ensure the safety of the citizens.
According to the health ministry, India reported around 1.5 lakh active cases on May 30, which is almost one-third of the active cases that were reported on May 7. The number is lowest in the past 50 days and less than 2 lakh Daily New Cases have been seen for the fourth continuous day.
*The recovery rate climbs at 91.60%*
Large-scale vaccination and ensuring the adequate supply of medical aid like Liquid medical oxygen, Oxygen concentrators, Vaccine doses, and many more have helped the overall recovery of covid patients across the country.
As a result, the recovery rate is showing an upward trend with an overall recovery rate of 91.60%. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, around 2.5 Cr covid patients have already recovered.
